Shanghai. Porsche Carrera Cup Asia drivers Bao Jin Long of China and Malaysian Alif Hamdan experienced first-hand the next chapter in Porsche success at the greatest endurance race of them all, the Le Mans 24 Hours.
Shanghai. The Porsche Carrera Cup Asia will make a return to the Land of Smiles this summer after confirming it will make its debut on the Chang International Circuit. Rounds 7&8 will be held on the 4.5km, Hermann Tilke-designed circuit from July 31 to August 2, and will mark a return to Thailand for the region’s leading sportscar championship after a 10-year absence.
New Zealand’s Earl Bamber has won the 24 Hours of Le Mans, alongside co-pilots Nick Tandy and Nico Hülkenberg in the number 19 Porsche 919 Hybrid. The 24 Hours of Le Mans is regarded as one of the most difficult long distance endurance races to finish, let alone win, with only the most elite drivers taking on the challenge.
