Clearwater Racing’s Craig Baird once again demonstrated his mastery of Singapore’s tricky and unforgiving Marina Bay street circuit, taking a wheel-perfect, pole-to-flag victory in Round 11 of the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia. Second across the line after superb performance was Budweiser Team Absolute Racing’s Tung Ho-Pin, while 17-year-old series rookie Nico Menzel gave his PICC Team StarChase their fifth consecutive podium finish on his Marina Bay Circuit debut.

Malaysia. Three-time Porsche Carrera Cup Asia champions, PICC Team StarChase, took their maiden victory with new driver, 17-year-old Nico Menzel of Germany, winning Round 9 at Malaysia’s Sepang International Circuit. Second across the line was pole-sitter, Team Porsche Holding’s Martin Ragginger, followed by Clearwater Racing’s Craig Baird of New Zealand.

Thailand. Kamlung Racing’s Chris van der Drift extended his lead in the 2015 Porsche Carrera Cup Asia title chase by taking his sixth consecutive win in Round 8 of the 14-race season. Taking the second podium of his debut Porsche racing season was PICC Team StarChase driver Nico Menzel, with a wheel-perfect performance from second on the grid and setting the fastest lap of the race in the process. Third across the line at Thailand’s Chang International Circuit was Budweiser Absolute Racing’s Tung Ho-Pin of China.

Kamlung Racing’s Chris van der Drift claimed his fifth consecutive Porsche Carrera Cup Asia win from pole to take victory in Round 7, as the series made its thunderous return to Thailand at the Chang International Circuit. Second across the line and taking his maiden Porsche Carrera Cup Asia podium finish was 17-year-old Nico Menzel of PICC Team StarChase, followed by Clearwater Racing’s Craig Baird.
